COMMON QUESTIONS & POLICIES

WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROTECT THE HEALTHY & SAFETY OF OUR PATIENTS.
HERE IS HOW

In these unprecedented times, we are committed to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff.  We are using best clinical practices as guided by the CDC and LA County Health Department regarding COVID-19.  We are now seeing patients and taking significant precautions in a safe and controlled setting.

  • How we are handling Covid: Office Protocols
All staff and Practitioners will be tested for COVID-19 prior to returning to work. They will be re-tested and not be allowed to work if feeling unwell or any symptoms related to COVID-19. All staff will wear masks, practice social distancing, and meticulously disinfect our office/treatment rooms during and between patients. We will also be checking temperatures prior to treatment with a non-touch thermometer. We are reducing the number of patients we see daily, and spacing them out, to avoid overcrowding of the office. We have eliminated the waiting area in our lobby. We ask that you check in at the front desk, and patients will go directly into their treatment rooms. If your treatment room is not ready, we kindly ask that you wait in your car until we contact you. Our goal is to get patients into a private room as quickly as possible. All staff in closer contact with patients during examinations or procedures will wear N-95 masks, gloves and goggles/face shields. All financial transactions will occur in the private patient room or in the lobby if empty. We are limiting physical contact outside of rooms, and a mask must be worn at all times.
  • How we are handling Covid: What we expect of you?
It is required to wear a mask to your appointment, and to come alone (including animals) unless you are accompanying a minor or require special assistance. Please respect social distancing inside and outside the office. We ask that you utilize the provided hand sanitizer upon entering the office, throughout your visit, and before leaving the exam room. We encourage all LA residents to get a free test at https://lacovidprod.service-now.com/rrs. If you feel unwell, have had a fever or cough within the last 14 days, or have been in close contact with someone who has, we ask that you seek testing and call to reschedule your appointment. Please take your temperature before leaving your house. If you have a fever, please seek testing and call us to cancel your appointment.
  • How do I set up a consultation?
We believe consults are an important part of delivering a custom plan that meets your needs. We offer virtual, and in person consults. We charge $100 for each consult; however, this amount can be applied towards any service.
  • How do I make an appointment?
Please call our front desk at 310-598-1580 or email us at info@skinthesisinc.com.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
We look forward to hosting you for your appointment. We adhere to a strict 48 hour cancellation policy. If your appointment is not cancelled or your considered a "no show" the standard $200.00 fee will apply. All appointments require a credit card authorization upon booking. If your appointment is not cancelled before the specified time, you may be charged the full amount of your service. Thank you for your understanding and consideration regarding this matter.
  • When should I arrive for my appointment?
We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to prepare for your treatment. We require new patients to fill out a brief medical history information and consent form.
  • Can I host a private event at Skin Thesis?
We can host small groups and can customize a menu of treatments for your affair. We do require a deposit when reserving for private parties.
