Before the Treatment

To ensure optimal results, please follow these pre-treatment instructions:

Limit Alcohol: Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 48 hours before your treatment, as alcohol may increase the risk of bruising.
Avoid Blood Thinners: Discontinue the use of anti-inflammatory medications, Vitamin E, fish oil, and other blood thinners one week prior to treatment if possible to minimize bruising.
Stop Certain Skincare Products: Avoid using retinoids, glycolic acid, and other exfoliating or active skincare products 24 hours before treatment to prevent skin irritation.
Medical History: Inform your practitioner of any relevant medical history or allergies before your treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, Juvéderm treatments are not recommended.
Take Tylenol: Consider taking Tylenol an hour before your appointment to help alleviate any potential discomfort during the treatment. Avoid Aspirin or Advil 48 hours prior.

During the Treatment

Your Juvéderm treatment will be administered by one of our experienced practitioners:

Procedure Duration: Juvederm injections typically take 30 minutes, making this a quick and convenient procedure.
Precise Injection Process: The practitioner will use a fine needle to inject Juvederm into targeted areas. You may feel a slight pinch at the injection site, but the treatment is generally well-tolerated.
Comfort Measures: Most Juvederm products contain lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during the procedure. We offer topical lidocaine prior to treatment as well.
Areas Treated: Common areas treated with Juvederm include the nasolabial folds, cheeks, lips, and chin.

After the Treatment

After your Juvéderm treatment, proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results:

Avoid Touching the Treated Area: Refrain from touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours after your treatment. No makeup for 4 hours post injections.
No exercise: Avoid exercise for 24-48 hours
Avoid Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours after your treatment, as it may increase the risk of bruising.
Avoid Heat Exposure: Steer clear of saunas, hot tubs, and direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
Manage Discomfort: Mild swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site is normal and should subside within a few days. Applying ice and taking over-the-counter pain relief like Tylenol can help manage any discomfort.
Be Patient: Results from Juvederm are immediate, but optimal results may take up to 2-3 weeks to fully settle.

Jordanna is the best I trust her completely with my face. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always makes me feel confident in everything she does.

Today it was an hour of waiting, even aside from numbing time, they had zero communication with me as to how long it would take. I left without treatment.
I asked the owner to call, and she did not.
She had a “Manager” call.
