Limit Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24-48 hours before your treatment, as alcohol may increase the risk of bruising.
Avoid Blood Thinners: Stop taking anti-inflammatory or blood-thinning medications, such as Vitamin E, fish oil, or ginkgo biloba, one week prior to treatment to minimize the risk of bruising.
Skin Care: Avoid using retinoids, glycolic acid, and other exfoliating skincare products for a few days before your appointment.
Medical History: Inform your practitioner of any medications you are currently taking or any relevant medical history, such as allergies.
Consider Pain Relief: Taking Tylenol 30-60 minutes before your appointment may help alleviate any potential discomfort during the procedure.

During the Treatment

Your Kybella treatment will be performed by one of our experienced injectors:

Procedure Duration: Each session typically takes 15-30 minutes.
Precise Injection Process: Using a fine needle, our practitioner will inject Kybella into the targeted areas beneath your chin. The number of injections will depend on your specific treatment plan.
Comfort and Sensation: You may feel a mild stinging or burning sensation as the deoxycholic acid works to break down the fat cells. Our team will ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during the treatment.

After the Treatment

Proper aftercare is essential to ensure optimal healing and results from your Kybella treatment:

Downtime: Swelling, redness, or bruising is normal and may last for a few days to a week after treatment. In some cases, swelling can last up to 2 weeks. Ice packs and arnica can help reduce swelling and bruising.
Avoid Touching the Treated Area: Refrain from touching, rubbing, or applying makeup to the treated area for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment.
Avoid Alcohol: Steer clear of alcohol for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment to minimize the risk of bruising.
Be Patient: Results are not immediate and will become noticeable within 6-8 weeks as the body gradually eliminates the destroyed fat cells. Additional treatments may be needed to achieve your desired outcome.

Today it was an hour of waiting, even aside from numbing time, they had zero communication with me as to how long it would take. I left without treatment.
I asked the owner to call, and she did not.
She had a “Manager” call.
