PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow these guidelines to ensure the safest treatment and best possible results:

Limit Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages for at least 24–48 hours before your treatment, as alcohol can increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
Avoid Aspirin & Blood-Thinning Supplements: If approved by your healthcare provider, stop taking aspirin and non-essential blood-thinning supplements such as Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Ginkgo Biloba, flaxseed, and similar supplements for 5–7 days before treatment. Do not discontinue prescribed medications without consulting your physician.
Stop Active Skincare Products: Discontinue retinoids, Retin-A®, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, exfoliants, and other active skincare products for at least 5 days prior to treatment.
Avoid Sun Exposure & Heat: Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, self-tanners, saunas, hot tubs, and excessive heat for at least 1–2 weeks prior to treatment.
Avoid Other Skin Treatments: Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, waxing, dermaplaning, tanning, and other exfoliating procedures in the treatment area for 2–4 weeks before treatment.
Pain Management: Consider taking Tylenol® (acetaminophen) and/or Advil® (ibuprofen) 30–60 minutes before your appointment if appropriate for you. Topical numbing cream will be applied approximately 1–2 hours prior to treatment for comfort.
Comfort Options: Pronox® (laughing gas) is available if needed during treatment. Most patients tolerate treatment well, and it is safe to drive after receiving Pronox®.
Treatment Sensation: Morpheus8® can be moderately uncomfortable due to the depth of the microneedling and radiofrequency energy. Individual pain tolerance varies, and multiple comfort measures will be provided during treatment.
Cold Sore History: If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), please notify your provider prior to treatment, as preventative antiviral medication may be recommended.
Medical History: Please inform your provider of any significant medical history, allergies, medications, implanted devices, recent procedures, active acne breakouts, infections, or skin conditions prior to treatment.
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Please inform your provider if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

During the Treatment

Your Morpheus8 treatment will be performed by one of our experienced practitioners:

Procedure Duration: The treatment typically lasts 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
Microneedling with Radiofrequency: The Morpheus8 device uses microneedles to deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the skin. This process stimulates collagen production and remodels tissue, improving skin texture, reducing wrinkles, and tightening skin.
Comfort and Sensation: You may feel some discomfort during the treatment due to the intensity of the microneedling and radiofrequency energy, but topical numbing and Pronox are available to ensure a comfortable experience.

After the Treatment

To support healing and optimize your Morpheus8 results, follow these post-treatment instructions:

Avoid Heat Exposure: Up to 1 week after treatment, avoid direct sun exposure and activities that cause excessive heat, such as saunas and hot tubs. Use a high-SPF sunscreen to protect your healing skin.
No Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup for 24-48 hours after treatment to allow your skin to heal.
Gentle Skincare: Stick to gentle skincare products, avoiding any harsh or active ingredients for 1-2 weeks after treatment.
Hydrate and Moisturize: Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer like Cicalfate or Alastin Dermal Repair to soothe and support the healing process.
Healing Process: Expect redness, swelling, and mild tenderness immediately after the procedure. The skin may feel rough and dry for a few days, with healing taking longer for body areas compared to the face.

Jordanna is the best I trust her completely with my face. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always makes me feel confident in everything she does.

Today it was an hour of waiting, even aside from numbing time, they had zero communication with me as to how long it would take. I left without treatment.
I asked the owner to call, and she did not.
She had a “Manager” call.
