• Stop Active Skincare Products: Discontinue retinoids, Retin-A®, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, exfoliants, and other active skincare products for 5–7 days prior to treatment.
• Medical History: Please inform your provider of any significant medical history, allergies, medications, bleeding disorders, autoimmune conditions, or prior facial procedures.
• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: PDO thread lifts are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. • Pain Management: Consider taking Tylenol® (acetaminophen) 30–60 minutes before your appointment to help reduce any potential discomfort.

• Procedure Duration: The treatment usually takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.
• Thread Insertion: After applying a local anesthetic, your practitioner will insert the PDO threads beneath the skin using a fine needle or cannula. These threads will gently lift the skin, providing immediate support and stimulating collagen production for long-term results.
• Comfort and Sensation: The treatment is typically well-tolerated with lidocaine injections beforehand. You may feel some mild pressure or tugging as the threads are inserted.
